The Vineyard

The Fallet-Dart vineyard is located in the region of Marne river valley.  We grow all three types of  grapes that are allowed to be produced in our region, -chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier - on 18 hectares of land (which is about 45 acres).  The pinot meunier is the most comonly produced grape in our area and is distinctly characteristic of the wines grown in "Vallée de la Marne."

We are consistent and stay familar with the rules set forth by the Champagne Viticultural Area Administration. We prune and tie the vines by hand, selectively trim the buds by hand, and pick the ripened grapes by hand.  Despite the size of the vineyard it remains our garden and under Daniel Fallet’s leadership we grow fine grapes with a that embraces the bio-diversity of our environment.

Each year we strive to produce grapes that are healthy, plump, and true to Daniel’s vision. Here in our vineyard we quest for a champagne that is true to the character of the region, yet rising above other producers in our high standerd of quality and taste.
